A glittering career sometimes hides some of the darkest stories beneath. Lolo Jones, the winner of both USA championships as well as the World Championships in hurdle events has reached her current place with much effort and a huge amount of patient. Jones had a poor and difficult life as the child of a single mother who had five other children. Her mother was always on the move, and had even resided in a basement church for some period of time. Jones was required to relocate to another school every throughout her senior year because of this nomadic existence. When she attended Theodore Roosevelt High School, Jones lived apart from her mother in order to pursue her interests in the track and field events. Jones was part of four families throughout her time at high school in order study in one place. Jones won the Gatorade Iowa Track and Field Athlete of the Year award during her time at school. She also was a part of the school orchestra as a cello player. Jones was among the top hurdlers in her first year of college. Jones won the 100-meter challenge in 2002 at the NCAA Track & Field Championship. Also, she participated on the runner up team for 100-meter relay. In 2003 and in 2004, Jones won the hurdles indoor event during the NCAA Championship. Jones began training in 2005, when she completed her college studies. The same year she also was the winner of the Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026, she was the winner of the Ostrava Track competition as well as Heusden.

Brandt relocated to Auckland, New Zealand after moving from Cape Town South Africa in late adolescence. The local casting directors discovered her. Lesley Ann Brandt was born 2nd December in Cape Town in South Africa. She's a very talented New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt moved along with her entire family to Auckland New Zealand in 1999. In Auckland Brandt started out as an agent for sales, and later was promoted into the role of an expert in IT. Lesley has appeared in several commercial advertisements after a few modeling assignments. She completed her degree in acting and pursued further training in Meisner methods of studying. The first time she was seen on screen in New Zealand was as a TV actor on Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt made a guest appearance in New Zealand's TV drama Shortland Street in the role of a support actor. Then she appeared on the science-fiction film This Is Not My Life that is based upon anecdotal Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast as Naevia her young hostage. She was is later featured as a character in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniature series in the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
