Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her role as Bo from the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she teaches drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with most fond memories of watching TV and attending play rehearsals. Silk appeared in several commercials while she was young. Her Bachelor of Arts was conferred by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was able to move to Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in the decade following 1999. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she was introduced to during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. In December 2009 they married after a civil wedding ceremony. After she had converted to Judaism and they were married again in an Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman's birth took place May 2013and had a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th May, 2016. Silk was nominated in 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk was pregnant during filming of season three's finale. She announced the news to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on the 20th of June, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for the Fourth season. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) along with Lauren Palmer (Zoie) among their top TV couple. Entertainment Television.
